Emails that ask for (or Phish for) personal information such as usernames and passwords, credit card information or bank details. These e-mails are usually designed to look like emails sent from legitimate companies or banks.

Never respond to these, as it tells the sender your e-mail address is active and can leave you open to further e-mails.
