ManagedSPAM is a hosted Anti-SPAM and Anti-Virus service that protects e-mail accounts from unwanted and malicious messges. It does this by intercepting and quarantining unwanted e-mail so that protected e-mail accounts are not flooded by Junk and Phishing e-mails and are protected from malicious messges (such as those containing Viruses). Types of unwanted e-mail that ManagedSPAM protects against: - SPAM or Junk e-mail (unwanted e-mail, usually of a commercial nature sent out in bulk)
- Malicious e-mail (e-mail that can cause damage to your PC or network, usually by infecting it with a virus)
- Phishing e-mails (fraudulent e-mails sent with the purpose of acquiring sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card information)
